Each entry is carefully reviewed by an independent panel of experts, and nominations are invited from all corners of the shipping industry.

This Award recognises an outstanding industry supplier demonstrating a significant contribution to industry collaboration and moving the maritime industry along the innovation track to positively impact crews in any of the following areas:
- Marine training and education
- Seafarer welfare
- Seafarer recruitment or engagement
- Professional advancement/sustainability
Awarded to a company, individual or team who have implemented significant technical, procedural, or operational improvements leading to reduction of risk to human life and cargo at sea.
Awarded to a company, individual or team who have implemented significant technical, procedural, or operational improvements leading to notable results in either of the three pillars: environmental protection, energy transition and decarbonisation.
Awarded to an active seafarer, someone who has stood out in the past twelve months by going over and beyond their role, or having a notable achievement, driving significant change or making a real difference to the crew welfare/safety or operations onboard.

Awarded to nominees – companies or individuals demonstrating a significant contribution to moving the maritime industry along the digitalisation and adoption of new technology track to positively impact crews in any of the following areas:
- Marine training and education
- Seafarer welfare
- Seafarer recruitment or engagement
- Professional advancement/ sustainability
This award recognises a leading corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy or initiative delivered in the past year, with a measurable impact on crews or wider communities.
Awarded to nominees – companies or individuals demonstrating a significant contribution to promoting the maritime industry as a career choice or addressing and influencing next-generation audiences.
This award is to honour an individual who has made a significant and lasting contribution to shipping and the maritime industry. This Award is being chosen by our Seatrade Editorial Board and is not open for entry like other Awards.
