A showcase of progress across marine crewing
Each entry is carefully reviewed by an independent panel of experts, before the winners revealed during our glorious gala celebration. Nominations are invited from all corners of the shipping industry. Categories include:
- Marine training and education
- Seafarer welfare
- Seafarer recruitment or engagement
- Professional advancement
- Sustainability
This award recognises a leading health (mental or physical) and wellbeing policy or initiative delivered in the past year, with a measurable impact on seafarers or their families.
Recognising an outstanding industry supplier demonstrating a significant contribution to industry collaboration and moving the maritime industry along the innovation track in order to positively impact crews in any of the following areas:
- Marine training and education
- Seafarer welfare
- Seafarer recruitment or engagement
- Professional advancement
- Sustainability
Awarded to a company, individual or team who have implemented significant technical, procedural, or operational improvements leading to reduction of risk to human life and cargo at sea.
Awarded to a company, individual or team for the implementation of a new initiative that champions the protection of our marine environments. Judges will be looking for evidence of positive impact on the environment as well as innovative thinking, and or cultural impact (either in-community or in-company culture).
Awarded to an active seafarer or a crew, who have stood out in the past twelve months by making a real difference to their fellow crew member, the operations of their ship or employer, or have had a measurable impact on the maritime industry.
The recipient(s) of this most important Award will be announced on the night.
This award is to honour an individual who has made a significant and lasting contribution to shipping and the maritime industry.
The personality awarded this prestigious recognition will be announced and celebrated on the night.
This award is presented to an individual making a significant impact on the industry's growth and prosperity.
